- Your choices: whether you asked us to contact you about your enquiry, and whether you opted in to occasional updates.
- How you found us: campaign details in the link you used to reach our site (such as the source, medium and campaign name, and an advertising click ID if the link carried one), the first page you landed on, the website that referred you and which button you used.
- Correspondence: emails you send us and notes of any calls.
- Technical information: our website host may record your IP address and browser details in server logs to run and secure the site.
We ask you not to send files, client details or other people’s personal data through our form.
How we use it, and our lawful basis
- To reply to your enquiry, assess whether your records may be a fit and arrange a call. Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in responding to businesses that contact us, and steps you ask us to take before any agreement.
- To introduce you to a licensing partner. We do this only when you have agreed to the introduction, and share only what it needs.
- To send occasional updates about data licensing, only if you opted in. Lawful basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To understand which campaigns bring enquiries, so we can improve our marketing. Lawful basis: our legitimate interests.
- To meet legal obligations and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Who we share it with
- Licensing partners: only with your permission, and only what the introduction needs.
- Service providers who run parts of our service for us: GitHub (website hosting), Cloudflare (our domain’s DNS and email forwarding, and the enquiry form, which emails each enquiry to us and keeps a copy so nothing is lost if delivery is delayed), Google (email, through Google Workspace) and Namecheap (our domain registration).
- Professional advisers and authorities, where the law requires it or to protect our legal rights.
We do not sell your personal information.
International transfers
Some of these providers process information outside the UK and the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards each provider offers for international transfers, such as standard contractual clauses or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
- The copy of each enquiry held by our form provider, Cloudflare: deleted automatically 90 days after you send it.
- Enquiries that do not lead to an introduction: deleted within 12 months of our last contact with you.
- Enquiries that lead to an introduction: kept while the introduction and any referral fee are in progress, then for up to six years for our legal and accounting records.
- Your marketing choice: kept until you unsubscribe, after which we keep a record that you opted out so we do not contact you again.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to restrict or object to how we use it, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To use these rights, email hello@connexahdatasolutions.com.
You can also complain to a data protection authority. In the UK this is the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). In the EU and EEA, it is the authority in the country where you live or work.
Cookies and similar technologies
This site does not set cookies and does not use analytics or advertising tools. It keeps the campaign details from your first page in your browser’s session storage for the length of your visit, so that an enquiry can show how you found us. That storage is cleared when you close the tab. Our fonts and scripts are served from our own site.
Changes to this notice
We will update this page if our practices change, and show the date of the latest version at the top.
